Contributed as an artist designing, rendering, and animating essential assets and backgrounds for World One and World Two. Utilizing both Photoshop and Illustrator, I helped concept, and designed the main character, established the style and theme of the game art, and created the overall color key of the game. Designed all UI and worked closely with programmers to assist in UX and UI layout.
World One is construction themed and World Two is wizard/fantasy themed. Worked along with Arianna Sargent (lead artist).
Character Concept and Design
Here are early concepts for our main character. We experimented with the style and keeping in mind the perspective that the game will be played in, as well as the overall color palette of the first world's theme (construction site).
Finalized character sprite. Construction vest is separate, allowing for customizable outfits for future worlds.
Obstacles and Hazard Assets
Designed and rendered a number of obstacle, hazard, and background assets seen throughout Worlds One and Two.
World One Assets
Using Adobe Animate, created electric animate for electric wire asset.
World Two Assets
World Two Background Assets
World Two background was broken into several parts: the green patches and the base green color allow for different rearrangements when designing a level.
Title screen with UI and animation. Ducks and exploding sprites created by Arianna Sargent.
Game Title Lettering
Created base lettering design using Illustrator and added stone detailing and shading with Photoshop.
UI Icon Designs
Used Adobe Illustrator to design the icons and Photoshop to color and render them.
Upon completing a level, the player receives star. Receives one of two stars: normal completion star (left) and diamond star when completing level with the least amount of moves (right).
